Immediate Supervisor: Manager, Simulation software engineering

Tasks

An integration specialist will be responsible for the coordination of hardware/software integration tasks during the final production and testing stages of various flight simulation training devices.

• Coordination of hardware/software integration tasks and interaction with project management
  
• Development of new aircraft system models
• Performance tuning of aerodynamic/ground/flight controls models
• Install software loads in preparation for hardware/software testing
• Resolve hardware/software issues raised by test pilots and customers
• Interaction with customers from acceptance testing through to flight training device certification, including worldwide on-site support
• Resolve deficiencies

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field (aerospace preferred)
• Familiarity with C++ and computer operating systems (Windows, QNX)
• A minimum two years experience in a similar field
• The ability to travel internationally
• Pilot's license or aviation background a definite asset
