Account Manager - Asia Pacific  

 

Title: Account manager - Asia Pacific (position based in Kuala Lumpur or Singapore)
Immediate Supervisor: Business Development Manager, Asia
Date: January 2, 2012

Tasks

Under the authority of the Business Development Manager, Asia Pacific the position holder will be responsible for business development and sales of products and services related to aerospace trainings for portfolio of customers in Asia. He/she will actively participate in the strategic development of the organization in the region.

  • Actively involved in business development and commercial activities of the company in the Asia-Pacific region;
  • Manage the full sales cycle for a portfolio of existing customers and prospects of [the identification of business opportunities to the closing of the sale];
  • Analyze client needs and determine the products and services to be offered;
  • Participate actively in the systematic development of market;
  • Participate actively in the development of product promotion strategy;
  • Manage contract negotiations for clients under its responsibility and contribute to their closure;
  • Maintain contact with customers proactively

 

Requirements

  • BAA in Administration - Marketing Option or similar;
  • 2-4 years of experience in a sales position with convincing results;
  • Desire to live and work in Asia;
  • Ability to manage sales cycles long and complex;
  • Ability to work in team;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • International profile with ability to adapt to different business cultures;
  • Analytical skills and active listening of the client;
  • Interest and willingness to travel frequently (50% of the time);
  • Autonomy and ability to manage time effectively;
  • Networking Skills marked for development and long term business relationships;
  • Focus on results;
  • Interest and knowledge in aviation a definite asset;
  • Spoken and written English, other languages an asset;
  • Excellent judgment;
  • A skilled communicator and negociator;
  • Leadership, creative, independant and motivated.
