Successful FNPT II qualification at Esma Aviation Academy for Mechtronix DA-42 simulators

Following Installation Two Ascent® Flight Trainers Receive Qualification for IR from the DGAC

Montreal, May 20, 2009 - Mechtronix Systems (“Mechtronix”) a division of Mechtronix World Corp., the fastest growing and one of the leading providers of flight training equipment in the world, today announced successful certification of two Ascent® Flight Trainer™ configured as Diamond DA-42 recently installed at ESMA Aviation Academy. Both units located at ESMA’s in southern France were certified JAR-FSTD A FNPT II by the French civil aviation Authorities, DGAC, under JAA regulations.

The Ascent® Flight Trainers, configured as Diamond DA-42, both feature a 150 x 35 degree visual system with FFS quality Image Generator providing its users with exceptional fidelity. The units are equipped with the latest autopilot technology Garmin GFC 700 providing more precision to the students’ navigation. Additionally, the devices are marked with a wider shell providing an ergonomic environment for easier interaction between the instructor and the student. Instructors and pilot students at ESMA now benefit from state-of-the-art technology developments Mechtronix brings to their line of FNPT’s when it comes to elements such as the Instructor Operating Station (IOS) technology incorporation multiple advanced functions.
